3D on mukava lisä. Mutta pääasia on että, Terminator 2 saataisiin blu-raylle "4K remastering". Yksikään aikaisempi julkaisu ei ole ollut tarpeeksi "laadukas" tälle LOISTAVALLE elokuvalle. Ilmeisesti kyseessä tulee olemaan "vain" teatteriversio leffasta, mikä on myös James Cameronin suosima. Toivottavasti tulossa olisi myös The Abyss ja True Lies!
Olen kyllä samaa mieltä vaikka toivoisin että joku toinen julkaisija julkaisisi T2:n UHD:llä (siis ainakin muiden puolesta jotka tykkää 3D:stä), jotenkin vaan huono luotto Canaliin mitä tulee kuvanlaatuun..
Sama homma. Muistaakseni kakkonen tuli joskus katottua. Youtubista näyttää löytyvän ainakin ensimmäinen osa.
Ensimmäisen osan olen viimeksi nähnyt 80-luvun lopulla. Silloin pidin tästä kauhukomediasta erittäin paljon. Elokuva painottuu ehkä hiukan enemmän kauhun puolelle. Toinen osa on enemmän komedia ja olihan tämä hirveä pettymys hyvän ensimmäisen osan jälkeen. House III/The Horror Show on itselleni ns. "guilty pleasure". Elokuvalla ei ole mitään tekemistä aikaisempien osien kanssa ja jenkeissähän tämän nimi onkin pelkästään The Horror Show. Lance Henriksen ja Brion James ovat elokuvan kantavat voimat, muista näyttelijöistä ei ole mitään muistettavaa. Aikomukseni oli ostaa jossakin vaiheessa Shout Factoryn The Horror Show, mutta R-Rated leikkaus leffasta kuoppasi tämän ajatuksen. Hienoa, että Arrow julkaisee nyt Uncut Euroopa version. Mielellään tästä olisi nähnyt sen version jossa on esim. kohtaus joka näkyy Suomi DVDn takakannessa. Toivottavasti poistetuissa kohtauksissa olisi kyseinen kohtaus? Elokuvaa voisi verrata juonellisesti samana vuonna ilmestyneeseen Wes Cravenin Shocker leffaan. House IVtä en ole nähnyt, mutta arvosteluista päätelleen kohtalaista kuonaa. Julkaisussa Ekstrat ovat jälleen ne kiinnostavimmat, ainakin osien II ja IV tapauksissa.

Ainoa syy tuon hankintaan on yhä ja edelleen sama mikä alun alkaenkin, siis sillä olettamuksella, että sellainen ihme tapahtuisi: tinkimättömästi tuotettu ja viimeistelty 4K masteri alkuperäisistä kameranegatiiveista sekä maat ja taivaat räjäyttävät lisämateriaalit - päräyttävää paketointia sivuuttamatta. Muussa tapauksessa Scream Factory -julkaisu ajaa asiansa toistaiseksi parhaimpana painoksena leffasta.
