Ei pysty katsomaan. Pakko odottaa itse levyä ja katsoa OLEDista. Onhan sitä jo 38 vuotta odotettu, että näkee leffan 4K:na kotona. PS. tuota ajan kulumista ei kyllä tahdo ymmärtää. Sama kuin olisin tuolloin Aliensin ilmestymisen vuonna 1986 hehkuttanut vuoden 1948 Apassilinnakkeen tai Sierra Madren aarteen VHS-julkaisua. Toki olisin näin voinut tehdä
Juolahtikin sitten taas mieleen tarkistaa esimerkkimme lähteestä asia. Vanhuus ei tule yksin, Jeesus! Harvinaisen mitäänsanomaton, turha ja irrallinen otos, jossa Raiser osoittaa "näyttelijän kyvyillään" ansaitsevansa jäädä leikkaamon lattialle.
Stand By Me (1986) julkaistaan maaliskuussa 2024 myös pohjoismaissa 4K Steelbook ja tavallisena versiona. USA julkaisuhan tästä olikin jo suomitekstein muutaman vuoden takaa. Näissä uusissa julkaisuissa on ilmeisesti myös Dolby Vision, mikä puuttui v. 2019 julkaisusta.

Tätä on tullut ihmeteltyä. Kaikkien vuosien odottelun jälkeen tuollaiset kannet? Eihän tämä ole taitelijan vika, mutta joku nuo on päättänyt valita? Ei haittaisi, jos saisi vaikka kolmesta erilaisesta valita, joista yksi mielellään olisi alkuperäinen leffajuliste.
Jo kansikuvissakin on niin rajusti käytetty vahanukketason DNR:rää, ettei odotukset ole videokuvankaan osalta kummoiset. Ikävä kyllä.
Joo en valitettavasti usko itekkään että kuva mitenkään priimaa olis mutta Abyss ja Aliens puuttuu itseltä ni ne tulee joka tapauksessa hommattua. Abyssistä tais olla 6.12 joku näytös elokuvateattereissa jossa uus printtti ni kaippa sieltä jotain tietoa saapi.
Itse olen tyytyväinen, että nämä julkaistaan vihdoin ja kaikkine versioineen jne. Avataristahan tuli jo 4K aiemmin ja tietenkään siinä ei ollut kaikkia versioita...
