Andrew Carter of @Clint_Movies on Twitter has revealed that director Clint Eastwood has approved new 4K remasters of all of the Dirty Harry movies, as well as Where Eagles Dare, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, and Kelly’s Heroes. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is already announced by Kino Lorber Studio Classics for release sometime in 2023. It’s still TBD as to when the others might arrive on Ultra HD, particularly the Dirty Harry films (which would be from Warner, though they aren’t currently on the 4K slate for 2023). The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year. Niinkin keskinkertaiseen lopputulokseen laahautuvasta kikkareesta kuin Smile kaikessa geneerisyydessään hädin tuskin myötähäpeää väistelee, voisi luulla standardi Blu-ray:n kelpaavan [/provo]. Noin kuukausi sitten kyseiseen haukotukseen 17 € tuhlanneena sitä ehti jo unohtaa tuon rahastuksen.
Kummasti se SF Studio välillä vaikuttaa julkaisun sisältöön sillä tavalla, että tiputtavat Dolby Visionin, Dolby Atmoksen tai extramateriaalin veke
Aivan, silloin kun kyseessä on yksin pohjoismainen julkaisu eli käytänössä muu kuin jonkun ison studion (Warner, Universal, Sony, Disney, Paramount) tuotos, esim. uusin Bond oli Amazonin tuottama elokuva ja levyjulkaisu oli kaikkialla jonkun paikallisen firman.
No time to die valmistui hyvissä ajoin ennen kuin Amazon osti MGM:n. MGM:n oma levitysyhtiö hoiti elokuvan levittämisen jenkeissä ja Universal suuressa osassa muuta maailmaa (lukuun ottamatta joitakin markkina-alueita, kuten Pohjoismaita).

Tuolloin sai vielä alle 44€ maksavat lähetykset ilman veroja, postit oli 6,48$ ja taala jotain 1,35. Oi niitä aikoja. Edit. Ainakin DigitalBitsiltä löytyi tietoa ja linkkejä tästä + vielä lisää huhuja Avatarista, Abyssistä ja True Lies leffooista UHD:nä. Hieno vuosi tulossa.
