Toivottavasti julkaisu elokuvasta on myös International Cut, eikä jenkeissä teatterissa julkaistu PG13 versio. Kun Kino Lorbert on julkaisijana, niin odotukset eivät kauhean korkealla ole. Hong Kongissa on vastikään julkaistu uudet 4k remasteroidut versiot Bruce Leen Big Boss and Fist of Fury -leffoista. Heikkoutena näissä on ainakin alkuperäisten monoääniraitojen jättäminen pois. Tänään/eilen tuli vahvistus, että Scream Factory julkaisee samaiset leffat jälleen kerran perustuen näihin uusiin 4k-siirtoihin. Näissä julkaisuissa pitäisi olla myös mukana monoääniraidat! Itse ostaisin ehdottomasti 4k-siirtoihin perustuvat Blu-ray:t. Joko HK-versiot, jos audiopuoli ei ole niin tärkeää, tai sitten Screamin versiot monoääniraidoilla. Itse odottelen jälkimmäisiä ennen hankintapäätöstä. Toki A-alueen hanskaava soitin pitää olla.
Britanniassa ja Australiassa noi on julkaistu 2K muodossa. Eiköhän se ole mahdollista, että ne jossain vaiheessa saa myös sieltä. Tosin odottaa varmaan saa. Toisaalta 4K levyissä ei ole aluekoodeja ollenkaan. Ainakaan vielä.

Kyllähän tuo "Director`s Cut" kiinnostaa myös, laadusta riippumatta (toivottavasti jotain sentään saa selvää kuvasta)?

Tietty tämä nyt julkaistaan vähän sen jälkeen kun hankin saksa BD:n. Noh kun tämä tuli katsottua tyttöystävän kanssa ei ollut mahdollista katsoa isommalla näytöllä kuvanlaatua kuin ihan nopean testauksen verran. Mutta en havainnut mitään kompressio tai väri ongelmia..Jännä nähdä jossakin vaiheessa USA versioon vertailu!

Taxi Driver 40th Anniversary Edition Amazon.comissa ennakkovarattavana, marraskuun 8. päivä on julkaisu. Sisältää Amazonin mukaan suomitekstit ja 2 levyä. Tuossa on uusi 40 minuutin Q/A -paneeli bonusmateriaalina + kaikki aiemmissa BD-julkaisuissa olleet bonusmatskut ja leffa on 4K-masteroitu. Tuossa on sikäli mikäli uudet levyt, että tuo 40 minuutin Q/A-paneeli on laitettu 1. levylle ja osa bonusmateriaaleista on siirretty 2. levylle. Sisältää myös slipcoverin ja ainakin omasta mielestäni cover art on todella hieno. Meni itselläni ennakkotilaukseen parit kappaleet. Suomessa tuosta julkaistaan ilmeisesti myös jonkin sortin karvalakkiversio, jossa on yksi levy, ei slipcoveria ja helvetin paljon rumempi kansi muutenkin.
