VIGILANTE - Yön soturit (1983) aka STREET GANG - 4K Mastered Alustava julkaisuajankohta 15.12.2020. Enzo Sciottin kansikuvataide on ehdottomasti parhaimpia useitten paskojen leffan tunnelmaa millään tavalla tavoittamattomien joukossa, mutta häviää kirkkaasti alkuperäiselle julistekonseptille, joka suorastaan huutaa 80-lukua!
Arrow Video UK 12.10.2020. ...Neljän levyn julkaisu vaikuttaisi sisältävän suurimman osan (ellei kaikki?) lisämateriaalit, jotka Nekromantik, Der Todesking, Nekromantik 2 ja Schramm rajoitetut painokset tarjosivat. SRS Cinema Maaliskuu 2021 NIGHT FEEDER (1988) - Special Edition
Perkele, että putosin! Huuuh, vesiä silmistä pyyhiskellessä... Nekromantik, Arrow:n rajoitettu painos, tuli tilattua loppuunmyynnin jälkiliukkailla Saksasta, kuta kuinkin viimeisten kappaleitten tarjoutuessa tyrkylle ennen globaalia hintatrokausta. Eikä ihme, onhan kyse Arrow -julkaisujen tietynlaisesta graalin maljasta, siinä missä esimerkiksi lakilimboon tuomittu Django(kin). Käsittämättömintä paskaa Nekromantik'n kohdalla koki tietyt tilaajat, joilta (oman muistikuvani mukaan) maan x sensuurielin eväsi tilauksen lunastamisen vedoten elokuvan sensuuristatukseen kyseisessä maassa, jota en tietenkään tässä muista. Onhan se hienoa, että kaikki neljä Arrow -julkaisua jo löytyy hyllystä, ja vieläpä rajoitettuina painoksina. Toisaalta, jos tuon tulon olisi osannut ennakoida, ei ole pienintäkään epäselvyyttä mistä rahat olisi tullut säästettyä. Konkreettinen muistutus harrastukuksen hintavuudesta, kun pelkkä standardijulkaisu ei riitä.
Ostat jostain kirpparilta parilla eurolla jonkin cgi-action-leffan ja otat siitä sen kansipaperin, jonka laitat sen Nekromantikin kansipaperin päälle. Problem solved ja nukut yösi hyvin.
Toivottavasti tämä on se julkaisu, joka sitkeitten huhujen mukaan olisi pisin koskaan elokuvasta julkaistu versio, erityisesti väkivallan osalta. Unearthed Films 19.01.2021

^Tremors 4K tulee varmasti ostettua. Elokuvissa tuli nähtyä leffa ja olen aina pitänyt siitä. Leffa on erittäin viihdyttävä ja aikaisempi Blu-ray julkaisu on DNR:llä pilattu. Jatko-osat ovat mitä ovat. Tilattua tuli.
Tremors 4K UHD julkaisu on itselleni todella iso julkaisu. Paljon isompi kuin esm joku 80-splatter julkaisu, vaikka niistäkin pidän. Seuraavaksi voitaisiin julkaista Cobra (1986) leffasta 4K UHD julkaisu ja mielellään Workprint versio
Samma häär. Tilaukseen menee, HD DVD päivittyy viimein. Cobra kyllä kelpaisi sekin pidempänä versiona, mutta mieluummin Hard Targetin ottaisin... ainahan sitä voi toivoa.
Hard Target ohjaajan versio olisi Cobra workprint Version jälkeen yksi mieluisimpia. Aina tosiaan voi haaveilla Cobra ei tule ikinä toteutumaan, mutta Hard Target ehkäpä?
No nyt kun Arrow on saanut jalan tukevasti Unversalin studion oven väliin Pitch Blackin 4K-julkaisun kanssa, niin ei haave ehkä niin totaalisen kaukaiselta tunnu, mutta en vielä pidätele hengitystäni. Itse olisin Arrow-pomon asemassa jo luuri kourassa soittelemassa John Woon suuntaan...
Arrow:n pystytylsän julkistuksen aiheuttaessa lähinnä päänsärkyä, tarjoaa Scorpion Releasing jälleen jotain hyvää, jonka julkaisuajankohta on vielä auki: EYE OF THE TIGER (1986)
