Onko muuten tietoa, että onko The Director's Edition Saksa-version kolmen version härpäkesetissä 16-sivuinen kirjanen täysin saksankielinen. Muistin juuri, että tuli ehkä vähän rohkeasti heitettyä setti ennakkotilaukseen. Nyt mietityttää sietämätön hinta vrt. kahden version julkaisu. Jos pitäisi arvata, niin se on todennäköisesti saksankielinen. Vai onko bookletissa vain kuvia ja kaaviota, kuten promokuvassa. Levytkin on vissiin joissain onnettomissa pahvitaskuissa. Arrow Video Announces November Releases Arrow Video has announced its November batch of 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. They are: The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Incredible But True (2022), Audrey Rose (1977), and Shawscope Volume Two (1978-1993).
Audrey Rose vaikuttaa mielenkiintoiselta. Tässä on vuosien varrella hahmottunut itselleni, että omalla kohdalla noin vuonna 1980 valmistunut (amerikkalainen) random-elokuva miellyttää minua suurimmalla todennäköisyydellä (johtuen siitä, että tyyli, jolla elokuvia tehtiin noihin aikoihin miellyttää omaa silmää parhaiten) ja tämä osuu lähelle (1977) tuota optimivuotta. Mitä aikaisemmin tai myöhemmin tuota maagista vuotta 1980 elokuva on tehty, sitä suuremmalla todennäköisyydellä leffa tökkii minulle. 60-luvulla ja sitä ennen tehdyt leffat ovat minusta usein (ei aina!) tuskastuttavan vanhanaikaisia (pökkelöitä) ja 90-luvun jälkipuoliskolta alkaen elokuvien kamerankäyttö alkoi mennä usein (ei aina!) ADHD-sekoiluksi, jonka koen sietämättömäksi visuaaliseksi kohinaksi. Tässä siis kyse todennäköisyyksistä. Lempparileffani ovat ajallisesti sirottuneet laajemmin/tasaisemmin eri vuosikymmenille, kuin tästä vuotta 1980 koskevasta teoriasta voisi päätellä. Harmi vaan, että Arrow:n kohdalla on noussut noita IOSS:ää koskevia tulliongelmia esiin...
Sääli, että jälleen on jätetty elokuvan ALKUPERÄINEN TEATTERIJULISTE oman onnensa nojaan, ainakin sliparin perusteella. Toivottavasti kuitenkin löytyisi mahdollisesti kansilehden kääntöpuolelta? Chechik 's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989), starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, and John Randolph. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year. Description: "As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. Tässä taitaa selitys kuitenkin olla, että Christmas Vacation on varma myyjä joka vuosi, kun taas muut osat eivät. Ensimmäinen National Lampoon's Vacation kelpaisi myös 4K:na, onhan se klassikkokomedia, mutta Euroopan hölmöilyt ja väsähtäneen Vegasinreissun voi minun puolestani jättää omaan arvoonsa. Saas nähdä, miten lähelle tuo Christmas Vacationin julkaisu edes rantautuu. Tokkopa sentään ihan Suomeen asti, Blu-rayta siitä ei ainakaan ole koskaan tullut.

En tiedä näistä leffoista mitään. Silloin tällöin näitä National Lampoon's leffoja tulee vastaan netissä (kuten nyt!), mutta koskaan en ole tietääkseni mitään niistä nähnyt missään. Ehkä näitä on joskus telkusta tullut, mutta kynnys jonkun komedian katsomiselle on suuri, koska nämä ovat helposti tuskastuttavaa ajanhukkaa elleivät ole erityisen onnistuneita (lue: Oikeasti hauskoja)...
Alkuperäisiä National Lampoon komediaryhmän elokuvia ei ole montakaan, nimen omistaa nykyään firma jolta voi "National Lampoon" merkinnän ostaa minkä tahansa leffan yhteyteen.
En tiedä tästä alkuperäisestä National Lampoon komediaryhmästä mitään, mutta aina kun sillä nimellä varustettu leffa tulee jossain vastaan (ja niitä tosiaan tuntuu olevan paljon!), niin ne vaikuttavat joltain tusinatuotannolta lässähtäneiden komedioiden joukossa... ...eikös tuo Chevy Chasekin ole sellainen B-luokan puolikoomikko, joka edes uransa huipulla ei ollut mikään suuri tähti?
