J.J Abrams puhui sarjan alettua viidestä kaudesta. Tokan kauden pääjehut Damon Lindelof/Carlton Cuse mainitsivat mahdollisuudesta seitsemään kauteen eli normaaliin tv-sarjan kestoikään. En usko, että ABC pomot olisivat syytäneet niinkin paljon rahaa kuin pistivät pilottiin vain kahden kauden takia. Rahaa voidaan takoa lisää jos sarja syndikoidaan, viisi kautta kestäneille sarjoille näin varmasti tehdään.

Spoiler Pitääpä quotata itseäni (viesti # 885): Carlton Cusen vastaus oli sarkastinen. Melkein heti tuon kommentin jälkeen Damon Lindelof sanoi jalan liittyvän siihen kuinka sarja on kuin suuri arkelologinen kaivaus. Dharma Initiave tuli saarelle 70 -luvun lopulla, jalan paljastamisella haluttiin aloittaa uusi 'kaivaus' ja aloittaa kolmoskauden kuluessa hieman kertomaan ketkä olivat saarella ennen Dharma -sakkia.
Joo Losti.fi:ssä tulikin luettua, että alkaa 11.10. Sieltä sain aiemmin tuon 21.9. Mutta saahan tuota boxia ostettua aiemminkin, kuin 3.10? Tuosta jääkarhusta sen verran, että "Swan-aseman perehdyttämisvideossa kaksi jääkarhua tappelee jäätiköllä. Se saattaa viitata Dharma Initiativen tuoneen jääkarhuja saarelle tutkimuksia varten. Kartta kertoo saarella olevien jääkarhujen olevan Dharman geenikokeiden tuloksia". Lostia ei ole todellakaan kirjoitettu alusta loppuun saakka. Vielä vähän aikaa sitten tekijät eivät osanneet kertoa, että tuleeko numeroille mitään selitystä. Kolmannella kaudella niidenkin tarkoitus luultavasti paljastetaan. Ja tuosta magneettijutusta vielä. Niin kuten sukellusvene sanoi, olihan se magneetin voima nyt tässä Desmond + Locke + Eko-kohdassa paljon suurempi, kuin silloin, kun D pudotti heidän koneen. Ihmettelen sitä, että oliko magneetilla voimaa repiä koneen pyrstö irti, vai miten se irtosi syöksyssä? Jos nyt magneetin voima ei riittänyt toiselle puolelle saarta vetämään aseita Othersien käsistä, tuskin se riittäisi repimään sitä koneen pyrstöäkään irti. Konehan alkoi putoamaan sähkölaitteiden sammuttua (?), joten itse magneetti ei repinyt sitä metallin osalta alas. Eli jossain vaiheessa on tullut tekijöille moka, joko noiden aseiden kanssa, tai sitten sen koneen kahtia jakautumisen kanssa. En ole ekspertti, en edes harrastaja magneettisuuden saralla, joten tekstini voi olla melkoisen puutaheinää. :>
Desmondhan kyseli, että _mitä_ "sen" oven takana on... Tarkoitti ilmeisesti sitä "onnettumuuden" jälkeen eristettyä/sinetöityä aluetta "luukussa", kenellekään tullut vielä mieleen, että olisiko siellä kenties koneen pudottanut ja ensimmäisessä jaksossa turbiinin räjäyttänyt hahmo(ja)? Ja täten napin painamisella oltaisiin pidetty näitä aisoissa tms. Tiedä taas mitä käsikirjoittajat keksivät, eivät taida itsekään tietää...
Jenkkien katsojalukujen kannalta on merkitystä vain r1 boxin julkaisupäivällä 3.10. Heinäkuussa englannissa julkaistaan S2 puolikausi (typerää rahastusta) boxi. Cdon näyttää kauppaavan 20.9 S2 koko kautta, ruotsin esitystahti on ollut vain jakson/pari jäljessä jenkkejä, joten eiköhän tuo pidä paikkansa.
Spoilereita season 3:sta Spoiler Summary of spoilers given by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: Next season, we will understand the real ramifications of Desmond activating the failsafe and what that did. The central issue of season three will be what did happen. It sounds like Desmond's coming back. They said they want him back, we want to know why he was in prison, we want to know what happened when he turned that key that affected the entire island. That will become very important. The island was visible but only for an instant. It was also visible for an instant on 9/22/04 when the plane crashed. The foot statue represents the history and archeology of the island. Season three will explore what happened on the island before Dharma arrived in the late 70's and who was there. The smoke monster will definitely be back in Season three. There is a good chance we saw the monster this year and didn't realize we were looking at it. By the end of next year we will realize what it was and when we saw it. Why did the Others take Jack, Kate and Sawyer? Where is their home? That will be the story told over the first six episodes. Season 3 will also be about the main characters and their relationships. They want to service the relationships next year more than the mythology. How Locke got in the wheelchair, how Jack got his tattoos will be revealed in Season three. Sarjassamme "kiinnostavat" juonenkäänteet :hitme: Jos tuohonkin pitää kirjoittaa jotain mullistavaa ja mysteeristä, niin alkanee otsasuonet kyllä pikkuhiljaa pullistella raivosta. Muutenkin aika rivakasti tunnutaan taas liikkuvan ensi kaudella, jos kerran tuon vangitsemisen syiden puimiseenkin meinataan käyttää ilmoitettu aika.
Vähän samat fiilikset täällä. Ihan viihdyttävä finaali, jäi kyllä vähän wtf? fiilis, mutta se on tuttua Lostissa. Kesä välissä ja kolmoskautta odotellessa...

Jos ykköskausi kolahti niin tuskin kakkoskausikaan pettymystä tuottaa. Se kumpi kausista on parempi menee makuasiaksi, ykköskausi oli ehkä hivenen tasaisempi mutta kakkoskaudella on taas parhaat yksittäiset jaksot. Joku muu lienee sitten päinvastaista mieltä
Hiljaista näin lostin seuraavaa kautta odotellessa, mutta pitääpäs heittää muuan älytön teoria tänne vaihteeksi niin ei mene ihan tylsäksi Lueskelin tuossa Dan Brownin kirjan enkelit ja demonit.. jonkin aikaa sen jälkeen välähti, että entäs jos dharman tutkimuksissakin ollaan tekemisissä antimaterian kanssa. Nimittäin antimateriaa pidetään hallinnassa magneettien avulla.. ja jos se pääsee kosketuksiin materian kanssa(esim. magneetti pettää) niin annihilaatioksi kutsutussa reaktiossa syntyy sähkömagneettista säteilyä ja erittäin kirkas valoilmiö(kuten kauden viimeisessä jaksossa nähtiin). Tässä teoriassa reaktio olisi tapahtunut jossain korkeammalla, koska tuossa annihilaatiossa aineet tuhoavat toisensa.. ja energiaa vapautuu julmetusti. Hmm.. se puolustussysteemikin tuhoaa kaiken jälkiä jättämättä. Tämä herättää kyllä muitakin aika älyttömiä ajatuksia, mutta jätän ne nyt toistaiseksi kertomatta ettette lähetä valkotakkisia meikäläistä hakemaan :hitme: PS. sitäpaitsi tämä ei selitä sitä nelivarpaisten sivilisaatiota

Kyllä tässä aika tulee pitkäksi, noitten aiempien "spoilereitten" valossa ihan mielenkiintoinen kausi odotettavissa. Josko niihin vanhempiin mysteereihin edes hieman lisävalaistusta olisi odotettavissa, niin se olisi hyvä.
Hieman on tihkunut lisää vihjeitä kolmannen kauden sisällöistä. Tuotanto on ilmeisesti jo alkanut. Vaikuttaa erittäin lupaavalta. S03e01 esitetään 3.10. ja ensimmäiset kuusi jaksoa muodostavat "minisarjan", jonka jälkeen tulee jälleen 3 kuukauden tauko. Sen jälkeiset 17 jaksoa tulevatkin sitten katkeamattomana. "J.J. Jack and Kate have specifically been mentioned as regards a romance in the third season; though not specifically with each other. Kate will make her "selection" within the first 6 episodes of Season 3. There will be more underwater scenes in Season 3, as it is reported that the LOST crew have been working on the underwater tank used in Baywatch (which was also filmed in Hawaii). Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof revealed at Comic-Con 2006 that there are connections between some of the fathers of the lostaways and the Island that they could not reveal explicitly until Season 3. It was revealed at Comic-Con 2006 that by the end of Season 3, viewers will have a very different idea of the actual time the lostaways have spent on the Island; the duration of the time spent by the losties on the island may not correlate with the time spent on the island to the outside world. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 60-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them.
